Dear Friends and Family,
My dear friend Nate Shupe, lost his mother Christmas morning after she lost her 8 month battle with Breast Cancer. Nate has recently accepted the challenge to raise funds to support the Komen Southern Nevada Race for the Cure on May 5th 2007 in the fight against breast cancer, and I join him in this challenge.
One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime, my grandmother Ruby is one of those women. She survived only because of a mastectomy and the excellent care she received from her doctors and the love and support from her family and friends. God held us all together and with my grandmother's survival he more than blessed us.
The more we raise, the more the Southern Nevada Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure can give back to fund vital breast cancer education, screening and treatment programs in our own community and support the national search for a cure.
Please join me in the fight by pledging in support of myparticipation in the Race or contributing generously to Komen Southern Nevada. Your tax-deductible contribution will fund innovative outreach and awareness programs for medically underserved communities in Southern Nevada and national breast cancer research.
It is faster and easier than ever to support this great cause - you can make a donation online by simply clicking on the link - Race for the Cure . If you would prefer, you can also send your tax-deductible contribution to the address listed below.

Thank you so much for your time and support in the fight against breast cancer! ________ Every step counts!
Much love and appreciation,
Sara Walker
